What kind of film do you have:

Small gauge cine types guide. motion picture film stock comparison

How to estimate the amount of film you have:

8mm / Super 8mm and 16mm reel sizes printable guide

3" reel = 50' of 8mm / super8mm film

5' reel = 200' of 8mm / super8mm film

7" reel = 400' of 8mm / super8mm film

There are reel sizes bigger but they are not often seen. If you have bigger reels than this for 8mm or super8mm format please call to discuss you options ( you may have to have the film spooled down onto the more standard 400' reels).

For 16mm up to 1200' and 1600' are fine
